The new owners want to have their own entity with that franchise name attached to it. So they’ll have all new characters. They haven’t asked me to be a part of it… It’s different, it’s a new one. I’m the old guy!

We owe it to the ones already gone not to let the story end on a cancellation. And we owe it to the ones still here to move while they can still be part of what comes next. Every year of waiting is a year the franchise may never get back. That is the real reason this cannot wait.
